Septic Pumping

Keeping your septic system clean by having it pumped regularly is one of the most important things you can do to keep it running properly. Each time water goes down a drain, a toilet is flushed, or you do a load of laundry waste water is flowing into your tank. If the tank fills or becomes too solid, the sewage has no place to go and can come seeping back into your home. 

Most tanks should be pumped every three to five years, depending on the number of occupants in the home and levels of usage. Regular pumping will keep your system operating and in working order. More frequent pumping is recommended if you anticipate a higher than normal usage level such as a party, more occupants in a home than what the system is designed for, or if you use a garbage disposal.
